Here is some of the basic information we think you’ll need, but please don’t hesitate to ask more questions. Also, keep in mind there are only 5 spots on this trip and once we open registration they will go very fast! Who: A total of 5 individuals that must be at least Level 1 certified, rooms are based on double occupancy What: 3 days of spearfishing out on the Louisiana oil rigs When: 9 November - 13 November 2017, registration will be opened on the 1st of September. Where: Fourchon Marina. We will be staying on the water at the marina. It is a little rough around the edges but well worth it to be 50' from the boat in the mornings. Why: To slay some fish, make friends, tell great stories and make lifelong memories! How much: $1,995 Itinerary: 9 Nov- everyone fly in. I will be on flight 1474 on Southwest arriving to New Orleans around 10:50am. I have arranged a rental van that should fit all of us and our gear. The drive from the airport to marina is about 2 hours. 10 Nov- DIVE wake up and be ready to leave the dock around 7:30am. We will have about 45min to an hour and a half of boat travel time to arrive at the spot. 11 Nov- DIVE 12 Nov- DIVE 13 Nov- We will be driving back to the airport to catch the earliest flight one of the guests has, otherwise I am on flight 1568 on southwest departing at 5:15pm. This trip will be a lot of diving and spearing. The rigs offer a wide variety of fish and depths! Things you can expect to see may include: Cobia, mangrove snapper, gag grouper, amber jack, and many more. The rigs can also be very dangerous, so there will be no tolerance for unsafe diving practices. Buddy diving is a MUST. I am very excited to go on this trip with you and can't wait to see what the ocean has to offer us on this trip!
